"Simple Chaos" Alleycat this Sunday! 4-18-10!

So the race is officially on! Rain or shine (though sunny weather is expected). Here's the location to where we are meeting at.
Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. It is near the Fremont Senior Center off of Paseo Padre. You honestly can't miss this structure!

I look forward to seeing everyone there! Prizes will be posted soon!

Race is being moved to April 18th!!!!

Sorry everyone, but this race is going to be postponed till SUNDAY APRIL 18TH. Rain is most likely making its appearance and will put a burden on this Sundays race. This race has been put together for riders of all experiences and I wouldn't want the added danger of slick pavement.
But where there's a negative, can be seen as positive!

-Gives riders a chance to become more familiar with Fremont.
-More time for training.
-Gives me a chance to scoop up more prizes.

Again, sorry for the inconveniance, but shit happens (like the rain). I'm only postponing this race once, so next Sunday the race will be happening rain or shine. Hope to see everyone out there!

SEE EVERYONE APRIL 18TH!!!!!

Update?

Sorry for the lack of updates everyone! I've been pretty busy getting this alleycat event set in stone. Manifests are DONE, spoke cards are FINISHED, and prizes are rolling IN!

We do have one minor possible inconveniance though, there is a possible chance of rain that day. But we will see, if rain decides to make an appearance, we will push the race to a later date. Until then, expect an awesome day on April 11th! I hope to see everyone there!

Sneak peeks at spoke cards and pictures of all our prizes will be up soon enough! Get excited!

Proud to announce Connetic Clothing...

as one of the main sponsors of The Track Novel series!

Founded in 2001, we are a forward thinking brand made to express the art of the streets, through a unique representation of culture found in skateboarding, music and urban lifestyle. We have devoted ourselves not only to our brand, but also giving back to our communities by supporting the local talents. Our strong root is what drove us to create a clothing of the highest quality, while being true to ourselves and the streets.

Connectic, as a form of movement. The energy built within individuals goes a long way. Motivation and power to perform, do and act. React, stack ways in which we empower ourselves. A dense style in a dense setting, we as Connetic figures stand through this age of time. During the time of crisis and problematic basis, we base our thought off our instincts. Intelligence in the books, intelligence in the urban field. We eat meals based days going by, representing what we got as a foundation for our life. We strive to survive in twisted surroundings, no where to go, but we still shift out of it. Once we start rolling, there's no twisting back. We stay stacked and racked, once its pushed and moved, we re-rack.

Staying intact is our taste, we waste and re-base the trace with doubt aside. Live life with inevitable struggles, but we live and let learn and buckle up for a thriller. Den in and find our niche, rewire and find find in the culture based off our Connetic progress. Digress isn't the goal, the future is in transformation. We change dramatically and strategically, we repeatedly find lethal accessibility in our own abilities. We use our own utilities to grow and develop inevitably, finding meaning in our stamina for self-fertility.

From the ROOTS up, process is our key and we move kinetically, metaphysically we transcend your dumb gone technicalities. We swallow it and suck it back down with n laxatives, can't budge us even if your tackling us with your forceful antics. Connetic, energetic, and dynamic, find time with us and we'll keep pushing.

Follow Connnetic for new releases, event information and things to expand your knowledge, since knowledge is king! For more information, view products and to buy Connetic apparel and accessories go to

Chrome Support: The "Coveted" Jersey!

These will be awarded...
Chrome collaberated with Capo to bring together an amazing jersey that can only be awarded and not purchased. Only Alleycat, Trick Comp, and/or other event winners (that Chrome supports) will have the opportunity to own one of these "Coveted" Jerseys. With a limited run of only 200 made, the fight to own one will be fierce. Artwork was done by Mr. Garrett Chow, and they came out great! We have two at the moment, with one being awarded this April. Thanks Chrome!

Our April event "Simple Chaos" is coming up soon. So if you want this jersey, you better be putting in the miles. Time+Effort=Victory. Want one? You'll have to work for it. Check back for more prizes and updates!

Chapter One Successful!!!

Our first event was pretty successful! A round of applause to Manny for putting on such a great time!

Though the rain kept some inside, those brave enough to withstand a little water had an overall good time. A little confusion with the end checkpoint but everyone made out with something nice in hand. The Trick Comp was insane!

Here's a few pictures courtesy of Daniel Porter of "Race to Fat Camp".

A look at all our prizes (provided by our great sponsors).
After the drag race, riders recieved their "mannyfests". Here, three riders coordinate their route.
San Jose local Bennett came out! A little rain is ok right?
Expect many more events to come! The next one is right around the corner! Keep an eye out!

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Oh it's on ! ! ! !

The race is still on! We likely showers today but not until later tonight. Until then, expect cloudy conditions with a chance of light drizzle. Come one come all!
No excuses people! Come out and ride!

Sorry for the lack of updates! We've all been pretty busy with the our event TOMORROW!!!!

Here's a quick iphone pic I snapped of Christian Torres on our way to pick up some prizes!

And here they are!!!! All the prizes donated from our amazing sponsors! Thanks everyone!

We have a 65% chance of rain tomorrow but we'll see how conditions are. A little rain won't stop us and neither should it stop you! If the rain is too much, we'll postpone the event till the following Sunday. But until then, check here for updates. We'll post tomorrow morning letting everyone know if our race /trick comp will still be taking place. See everyone out there!

Windy Weather? No problem!

Check out the new Anza Windbreaker from Chrome!

Pulled from the Chrome website:
Our water repellent, windproof jacket tucks away for when you need it, but has tons of useful details and pockets which will make it your everyday favorite.
  • Lightweight, wind resistant, 100% Polyester plain weave fabric
  • Teflon branded water repellent finish
  • YKK coil zipper at center front
  • Front waist pockets with snap closures
  • Pocket at center back with mesh ‘stuff sack’ pocket bag
  • Arm and torso length designed for a perfect fit on the bike
  • Convertible collar for cold rides.
chromebags.com

They retail for $80, which is definitely reasonable if you're a daily rider. Now everyone can't use the excuse that the weather is keeping them from riding!

Cracker Challenge!

Here's a picture of my boss attempting the "Cracker Challenge". The idea is to try and eat ten crackers in under a minute. It is said to be impossible, but Bicycle Garage part owner Alan Farian tried to prove otherwise. The outcome? EPIC FAIL! Alan ended up owing me $20 due to a lost bet haha. Bet your friends!

Scotty's Intro

Cycling has long been important to me. It has been around me for as long as I can remember. I've grown up riding BMX and MTB but urban cycling is a league of it's own. It has given me a lifestyle that I will be forever grateful for. For that, I have decided to give back...

Track Novel has been introduced to help strengthen the cycling community within the Bay Area. I have brought friends together to help support this idea and keep the cycling phenomena alive. Keep posted as we bring in the new year of 2010. Expect greatness...and welcome to Track Novel!

FUN with Friends!

Kicked with Scott, Amanda, Kristy and Chrtistian at Chipotle last night.
